I am taking the Enemy out next week for lunch and she ahs said she would like to go to Henley.

Anyone know any nice pubs that do good food (not spam & chips, fish & chips, egg & chips, etc) that I can take her to ?

There's a nice one near a river , just can't remember whereabouts. The road it's on jumps over the river - humpback bridge .

What about the Red Lion at Burchetts Green, on the Maidenhead to Henley road, reasonably priced and not bad grub.

Fortunately, I lived in Henley for 18 years and know the area like the back of my hand. The best food pubs are in the surrounding villages. Try the Crown at Playhatch; Shoulder of Mutton at Playhatch; Stag & Huntsman at Hambleden; Greyhound at Peppard (all 15 mins from Henley)
