Payments to self - employed
Although being self-employed or freelance has its risks it also has its rewards-Lower tax
But in the current situation this category of the workforce should be given financial assistance by the Government.
Payments should be based on the yearly tax return of the claimant and a proportion paid -say 80% as a weekly wage.
Obviously a limit has to be placed say 30,000 pounds a year , so a maximum of 480 pound a week should be paid until the current situation is over.

Maybe check your local supermarkets to see if they want delivery drivers etc, crying out for them in my area.
im self employed but still have work, currently out in the middle of a field on my own so safe from people/virus.
my wife runs a hair salon, so has been forced to shut. One client works for a care agency, and asked her if she would help out a couple of years ago. She has been doing a couple of evenings a week. The care agency looked after my dad when he was passing from cancer, she was close to my dad so thought it would be a good thing to do.
luckily they were straight on her case to work full time as the salon is closed. They also said there is plenty of work for the girls that work in the salon.
However, they would rather sit on the backsides and get 80% of there wages for doing nothing, instead of helping the economy and actually working for 100% pay.

And ring your local boozer, lady working in my local agricultural store told me the other day she bought a barrel of beer (88 pints) of the pub for £100, and set a bar up in her garden.

I'm sure if you speak to your bank they should give you an overdraft facility under these circumstances. Then pay it off with the lump sum payment backdated to the 1st March.
