Guitars
My dad plays the guitar, I'd love to and I think my son would love to have his grandad teach him.
Now I know the better the guitar the better the sounds and more enjoyment will be had but I really can't justify hundreds for a 5yr old and his 3yr old sister to potentially wreck it.
Can anyone recommend a cost effective brand. I don't mind second hand and love Ebay.

Personally I’d probably look at a 1/2 size acoustic but try and avoid anything with a full or large width neck and fret, but with sensible spacing. Also definetly second hand, although you could probably pick up something or even new for £50, whether it’s playable is another thing...
Just don’t do what my dad did...he bought me a BM classico spanish accoustic that whilst being a 3/4, it had a full sized fret and neck. Could never get a decent sound out the thing...it was better played as a ukelele and not bother with the other two strings. Still have it somewhere and had some mates try and play it for a laugh and to prove me wrong, some are good guitarist and even they struggled.
