Tonight's spooks was just brilliant. How tense was that ending? OK, dodgy in parts, such as the keyboard of a laptop just falling off and some less than great camera work...
...but what a superb programme. Hell, I may even write to points of view. Really got me in the end.

Just about to post a new topic and up it Pops. Best TV I've seen in ages but what happened at the end, anybody from the BBC care to comment?
Bugger have to wait to the new series.

I'm guessing that it didn't make a friendly little noise saying "Windows has finished installing" . The look on the faces was absolutely heart-wrenching.
But perhaps I'm just a sentimental old sod. . But yes, keep the BBC, keep the licence fee.

Just been to http://www.bbc.co.uk/info/contact/com_email.shtml and said a few good words.
I pay for SKY but the license fee is fully justified with such good programs.

PS. Don't think they died though (hope not anyway)

Sorry to disagree, but 'Spooks' is typical BBC pants
I don't want my money financing this kind of garbage. In fact I don't want my money financing the BBC at all

Maybe......... but IMHO the BBC world cup coverage is far superior to ITV. Come on - who's idea was it to ask Gazza on. You need a translator for that guy.
I prefer the free-for-all discussions from the BBC, to the staged "what do you think...." from ITV.

Watched 20 mins of an episode 2 weeks ago to see what all the fuss was about and nearly fell asleep with the excitement. Plastic acting, poor plot and stereotypical spy stuff.

Er, since when would any intelligence agent take home a device given to then by a know terrorist ??
That plot line was more holey than Jesus....
Apart from that it's been a very good series..

I thought the 'Open the Laptop in a middle of a field given to you 30 seconds ago then promptly email a whole laptop full of data over his mobile phone' was a bit suspect too!
When I pointed this out to my wife she simply pointed out the fact that he must have had a special spy phone that does these things!!!! (bless!) - Ok yeah - but how was the laptop set up to use it??? (cynical...who me???? - suppose it was better than seeing him fish out a slab of cd-roms & install an email client, bluetooth adaptor, reinstall bluetooth, RTFM, reinstall windows, buy a new phone because of incompatabilities, reinstall bluetooth due to new phone, purchase new laptop due to incompatibilites...err problem solved)
Enjoyed it though!

Better than most but
1. Soldier "Nearly shot a farmer". Hello, what if the terrorists were dressed as farmers?
2. They knew the target and the weapon and the most likely 3 firing points. What did they get from surveillance other than that terrorists were in the area, that they knew already. The area could have been flooded with squaddies. Spoilt the tension for me.
3. If the explosives were enough to "demolish half the street" then standing outside a toughened glass window is not going to do you any good
Reminiscent of Bodie and Doyle, but no Capris
PS. Mods, shouldn't this be in Security?

It was quite a good series, and bang up-to-date, but yeh - lots of little niggles.
Remember the first episode, where one of the agents changed a plug fuse, then climbed though a loft hatch - all in under 30 seconds?
