Default Virgin: constant price rises

We understand that a price rise is never welcome. Yet with broadband usage increasing across our network by 31% last year, we need to continue investing in it so that you're brilliantly connected to the stuff you love. And of course, you'll still enjoy things like inclusive servicing and repairs for your peace of mind.
And mine has risen by £3.50 pm, a rise of 5.65%, or almost double the rate of inflation.

So, according to them, their loyal customers must pay more so they can invest in getting more customers online, WHO THEY WILL GIVE DISCOUNTS TO, WHILE I GET NONE???????

What a back-to-front system.

Sky used to favour new customers. Now new or old get the same prices.

Technically, when they add more people to the network the investments allow the stability of current customers service rather than future proofing .. not that, that helps.

Quick look at some of the offers on their site

" Offer available to new Sky Fibre customers only. New 18 month contracts "

Not quite true.
Some deals are still for new customers only.

What I have noticed with them though, when renewal time comes around, and you get on the phone negotiating for better prices, they tie you in for another 18months.
I got 50% off when I last negotiated, so I wasn't bothered about the 18 month contract.
