The luck of Alcazar, part 43 (c)
Been complaining of being ill recently, now suffering from sinus probs, headaches, congestion, face aches, ear ache etc etc.
So today called in at the chemist for whatever would solve it.
Chemist young lady asks me, "Are you taking medication for blood pressure, glaucoma, or peptic ulcer"?
Yes to the first two of those, so no go on the sinus-clearing stuff.
Bloody typical. Her best advice, take paracetamol and if you still have it after three days, make an appointment to see your doctor.

If it was dog youd have put it down ,the amount cash spent / complaint levels
Iv had cracked molar for ( discovered) month ago . Apparently the nerves all join up top bottom - so has produced ache all over , which might also be mistaken for earache from compound wax , which iv got bit of also.

I had face ache for 5 years. Took loads of advice on it. In the end it was solved by myself. I told her to pack her bags and go. I know live a face ache free life! 😉

You could try nasal flushing. I do this morning & night every day.
You will need:
A 20 ml syringe
A drinks bottle with lid approx 1 litre in size
A medicine spoon - one of those white plastic ones with tsp and one end and 1/2 tsp at the other.
Put 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of sodium bicarb in the drinks bottle. Add approx 1 litre of pre-boiled water. Keep it next to your bathroom sink. Every morning - 1 x 20 ml syringe full up one nostril (it will flush out the other), and repeat with the other nostril. Same at night. It will help with general nasal health and that whole blocked face feeling.

Sounds considerably worse than it is, I assure you. Empty the syringe over about 3 seconds and sort of tip your head to the side, it just goes up one side & down the other. Then gently blow out any residue. This isn't some bizarre thing I though up myself, a doctor at the Ear, Nose & Throat department told me to do it when I was in about my nasal polyps. It's widely considered to be more effective at helping with a wide range of nasal related problems than a kick in the *****, but each to their own...
