You can apply for a loan and people like me fund part of it, I will when the loan is paid and lose when it's not. https://www.fundingcircle.com/uk/

My reasoning for jumping onboard is auto bid being turned on for everyone in September, before that you could pick and choose which loans to buy and sell, you could play a time consuming game and make a lot more than those that chose auto bid. That caused a fair amount of outrage as you can imagine and lead to a fair few people pulling out, I gave it a few months to recover.

None of that is a good reason to throw money at strangers but so far I'm liking the level of detail they give you, I know who I've lent every penny to and who doesn't pay, even the reason they want the loan. Seems a bit much now that I can't pick and choose but hey!

This isn't Bitcoin, not expecting massive gains but if I get 5% and I don't have to do anything much then that's a win and I'll up my investment.

What is the nature of the business and how will it use the loan?

To be used to update / redecorate a surgery and update some IT without hitting existing cash flow. We are dentist practice.
