Something! 3 attacks in like 6 weeks now. Surely England must do more to prevent attacks. I know it can't be easy but raising money, having a bee tattoo isnt really helping

The only way forward is for communities to grass these idiots up.
I don't buy the whole 'we didn't see it coming' crap. Everyone who lives in a town or village or community know who the dodgy characters are.

When someone stops turning up for football or doing things out of the ordinary, hanging out with new strange people, how can friends and family not notice.

There's really only so much the security services can do.

Let's assume that you wanted to become a terrorist.
If you don't search for stupid **** on the youtube (or wherever these people spread videos), and don't talk to other potential terrorists over the Internet, but rather come up with something as a small group of people, there is *nothing* apart from someone grassing you up that will get you caught.

Around 3000 known extremists walking our streets, free to go around causing and supporting these kinds of sick attacks, killing our children, family, friends!!!
We could start by 'dealing' with this kind of scum.

Woke with a start and instinctively checked my phone. Here we are. Don't engage in knee-jerk reactions, lads, there's no advantage and it simply plays in to the hands of the enemy. Stay calm and know that there are people across the cultures who are sickened by what's going on. Praying for the victims and the emergency services.

It seems a lot of these extremists are thick people with little or no future who have been radicalised in prison by sick minded individuals with a perverted view of Islam.

They have no purpose in life then all of a sudden they are a labourer to God.

Separating extremist inmates would be a wise move imo. Or put them in a mental institution.

The ones walking the streets are more difficult.

Copy of my post on the Manchester thread fwiw

"Too many could-well-become-terrorists making old Blighty unsafe. Strong circumstantial evidence but nothing to stand up in court.

So we say to them "We can't risk your freedom so we'll give you a choice. We'll pay you to go home (where your parents were born) and you cannot return or we will lock you up in UK until we are 110% sure you will behave". This would apply to British citizens as well. Yes mistakes will be made, tough.

You would of thought after the last bridge attack a rather simple thing to do would be to put bollards on bridge walkways .

Yep, one of them has posted already, spouting the usual naive liberal BS

The others are probably still eating their breakfast while reading in the Guardian.Wouldn't be surprised if they consider this 'fake news' or a 'false flag'. After the Manchester suicide bombing a couple of weeks ago CNN had one of their pundits trying to suggest it could've been a 'right wing extremist' trying to make out it was IS.

Has to be said though, looks like a great response from emergency services and armed police. No messing around, 2 of the terrorists shot and killed.

Must be a very tough job operating under those circumstances when the situation is totally unclear and you've got people all over the place screaming and running.

Just for the record, Joz, I think this has everything to do with religion, but that's a bit like blaming politics for the tens of millions murdered at the hands of National Socialism and Communism during the 20th Century. I think we have to be more specific. The religion here is Islam and more accurately Sunni Islam. To break that down further the perpetrators were almost certainly Salafist and within that branch we are dealing with Jihadi Salafists.

I'm a little disappointed you didn't engage your brain on this one, Joz.

Here's me discussing it 7 years ago:

7 dead and 48 injured

My thoughts go out to the families and friends

PM has announced that the general election will go ahead on Thursday (no disrespect I think she's right)

If you were on the fence regarding how to vote I think anyone who votes for Corbyn and his open door policies wants their head examined

Sad times
