Having just done 13 years in the forces and HAVING to shave every day, I qualify to wear a beard . Not shaving is truly amazing I have to say!! Fortunately, I grow a good good one, but I agree that some people's 'beards' look absolutely terrible. If you can't grow a full beard, don't bother!

Beards on and off for many years, with many types of beard along the way.

Have also on occasions decided to shave my head completely - very interesting to see how people react to it.

I have a bald head, so my beard is allowed.

I shave it every other day to keep it trim and professional looking and I look dam fine

Had a tash pretty much ever since I could grow one, shaved it off a couple of times but just looks weird when I look in the mirror, used to have to be clean shaven for work 20 odd years worth, so I think I earned the right not to shave, I just have a chin strap goatee these days as I think it looks neater on me... I can grow a full beard but don't like the look... even more so now everyman and his dog has one.... same with tattoos... I'll never have one now, they're like dog poo, everywhere you look you see them... so much for being an individual.

I end up with a ginger monstrosity when it grows beyond a certain point so I try and keep it under control but I'm a lazy barsteward tbh.

I don't mind folk who have them, some are outstanding.
