Best Value Break down service for Dog Owners
I am looking to take out breakdown cover and reading the small print on the companies like AA and Green Flag neither of them will guarantee including dogs in the recovery process I assume they would expect you to leave them at the repair garage with the car until its road worth!
As I regular travel with 2-3 dogs in the car in the UK occasionally 300 miles away from home on holidays obviously I need to find an alternative company has anyone found a good value company that will transport owner and pet if the car has to be left at a garage for repair?

Pets can travel in patrol or recovery vehicles at the discretion of the patrol/recovery operator and their owners, but solely at the owners’ risk. This means that although animals, such as dogs, will normally be transported without question, the patrol/recovery operator has the right to refuse to transport any animal in their cab.
