I dont think Juha Kankkunen went out in a car either . Every other year the guest driver always went out for some spectator enjoyment . Elfyn Evans , Jimmy McRae and Louise Aitken Walker were out . Yes some of those Escorts were rapid , Phil Collins is always entertaining and that other red Escort was quick . Not sure why they've changed things but we had an enjoyable day .

The Red escort look the fastest thing on track IMO. Now Darin from MLR is not doing it it ain't the same, bollards on track slowing the cars down! Why!? I had track time booked but couldn't be bothered when I'd seen what They'd done to the track. It's run by Combe Circuit themselves now. Left early disappointed.

I went in 2013 and it was definitely more entertaining on track with marko Martin flinging a scooby round, Evans and Camili were good until the Frenchmen broke the msport car lol, but you are right putting that chicane in before the pit straight really stopped those escorts getting proper sideways

I won the 22B sprint there last year love the track it's so fast! I can't understand why they would slow it down as theses are mostly MSA licenced drivers. I was up at Quarry expecting thrills and spills but no thrills or spills! Boring

Apparently it was run as a rally stage hence the chicanes etc. We had 2 cars out on what was promised as an all day stage pass, 4 hours was all they run it for. There was no real entertainment value, no sparring with other drivers, and massive queues to get on track, personally from someone who has attended 7 years I feel it's lost its spark. The organisers wanted to make it a feel like a rally event but maybe failed by trying to hard. It's a shame as rallyday was the highlight of mine and others event calender. We to missed the fun of watching Damien and Phil out on track. Damien and the legacy was certainly missed this year.

I had an all day pass as well in the Impreza, managed 6 runs as rest of the time was spent lining up. I was told the reasons behind the chicanes etc was that the drivers from
Previous years saying the cars were bouncing on the limiters in top gear as the circuit was open and fast and most rally cars geared low etc?
I had a good day and raised a bit doing passenger rides for the Richard burns foundation so didn't get to see much of the show as spent most of the time sat in the car
The show needs work but first year Combe have run it so constructive criticism will hopfuly help to iron out some issues and get the show back to its former glory.

Its a shame if the organisers have spoilt Rallyday. I enjoyed some great times on the RB5OC stand from 2007 till 2010, including the parade lap behind Richard Burn's father.

Didn't bother going this year.
It used to be a great day out but the last time I went it was a long drive for a pretty mediocre day out with about a third of the cars from clubs attending compared to how it used to be. Shame
