My kids can't eat sweets or rock (allergic to coloured food) and when their friends go to the seaside, they bring them rock back

Yes, I sometimes get useless and tacky souvenirs. People shouldn't bother, merely for the sake of it.

Mind you, in this individualistic society, we should be just happy that people buy us useless souvenirs. I bet most never buy anything for anyone else, but just for themselves..

It's nowhere near as bad as some I've seen, rugs made of animal skins, ashtrays made with gorilla hands, or stools made from elephant's feet for example

 

And them dam snow/shake globes

Not happy about the gorilla hands or elephants foot though

 

I'm going to be on a mission next time I go away to find you something even worse. You could start putting them up as a display in the workshop.

Was here the other week and somebody was ripping off old roof tiles as souvenirs; horrendous but in another context.
