Don't know wether I should tell or not.......
.........I have full screen all of a sudden
The big advertisement banner on right of screen has gone and now full width screen
Ssshhhhh otherwise the tecky guys might get wind of what's happened.

Perhaps the big advert peeps have stopped paying their rent for their space on SN? Or perhaps they persisted all along without paying anything, and now SN has the technology to kick them out unless they pay their way and then only display?

Yes, if you pay the specific subscription to get rid of adverts on right hand column then you won't get them.
I havnt paid for that particular subscription.

Never seen any adverts on Fire Fox.

I use crappy safari on iPad, can't be arsed with extra tech.
Never bothered me really prior to this, just don't have to use my 2 fingers to zoom screen a bit to read
