Default Anyone watch 11.22.63?

And has also read the book?

How did you find the series? I was massively disappointed.

I have Game of Thrones series 1-5 to take to France. I've read the books up to date...am I going to be disappointed in that one too?

I thought it was ok, but i haven't read the book.

I don't think anyone should or could be disappointed with GOT. I suspect you will be the exception to that rule though.

I have almost total recall of stuff I've read, especially if I enjoy it, so if it deviates even a bit......

Watched first few episodes and I quite liked it.
Stared watching 'five' - it looks promising.
Bosch on Amazon is our favorite so far, 2 series (books) and both have been excellent.

I enjoyed the series.
Game of Thrones - I am still struggling through series 3 . I can't believe the dwarf continues in this series.
If you haven't watched Ray Donovan then should make that a priority.

They condensed the book in parts and only the final episode disappointed me.

Regarding GOT.....awesome, simple as that. Be prepared to through your TV out of the window at what a **** Joff is!

This could well be your problem to be honest. Best to take these kinds of show as a dramatisation of the books rather than a literal copy.

^ Exactly. You should never compare the books to the tv/film equivalent.

I started to read GOT books, but found them to be a bit turgid. The TV series is much more engaging, but there's plenty of people who think the opposite.


Some books translate, some don't, but it depends on how you feel, at the end of the day.
