POC, you are a GOD! How you manage to drive at that speed and then calmly lean over to the passenger side to take the photo is beyond mere mortals like us.

Just look at the lack of vibration on the dash board, perhaps you shold be called "cool hand Luke" - at least you'll get to know what mending roads is like soon....

didn't you see rik1471's earlier reply
that last one is showing over 180mph but less that 5 k on the rev counter, thats would put it in the 200mph club approx....
not with a dash like that though

ps. looks good though

Cool

It's not difficult Olly can verify that I have had my bog std XR4x4 pulling over 150mph, on the rev limiter in 5th.

All you do is put it on 4 axle stands, take the wheels off, stick it in top and rev its taters off!

Take a photo of the dash, taking care not to include a view of the front lawn through the windscreen, Et Voila! Instant hero status

Well done Andrew420, youve got it right, the pic was taken in my old GTiR which had been converted to mph but had a switch so I could change the readout to kph, very handy for showing the car off with (passenger '**** me this thing is going some' 180 kph = 112 mph), I guess this is how the evo in the orginal pic has done it too.

What sort of cars are these?

Given that we are in "non Scooby related".

POC, I'm impressed. My Evo 6 GSR will only do 160 while bouncing off the limiter (7600rpm).

I'm assuming you have replaced the internals with balanced items and had the limiter reset to allow you to rev further in order to get an indicated 180mph. By my (flawed?) reckoning you'd need to be at around 8500rpm to get there.

Either that, or replaced 5th with a longer ratio/increased the rolling diameter of the wheels...

Derek

Edit: Not sure about your dials mate. I prefer the standard indigo ones I think
