Any fans here?


My boy came to visit me today and has been a Slash fan for a long time. So much so that he is flying over to LA for the weekend to see them headline at something called the Coachella Music Festival. It's quite an event with hundreds of bands around.


I am one of these parents that over worry about their kids and it didn't cheer me up when he said that he was flying Ethiopian Airlines


But it was the only carrier that offered a decent price being Dublin to LA direct for £400 return. So fingers crossed and I hope Slash turns up!

Hey, David! James Lock will be fine, don't worry. I'm not a G&R fan, but I like them and many of my real life friends are their devoted fans.

My fat cat was named as Slash by his previous parent aka our Big G from SN who doesn't post here any more. Big G's lads were heavily into G&R so they named their kitten as Slash. When we adopted him, we changed his first name to Rubix but his middle name remains Slash. He wears our surname.

Anyway, I'm sure your son will enjoy the opportunity of seeing Slash perform. I've seen him on TV. He is unbelievable with his talent!
