No.

Buy Tilda Basmati. Best posh rice you get in the UK.

Here, I've Googled an online option for you:

http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/webapp/w...mati-rice-10kg

Not sure what they'll charge for delivering it, though. If that's another 12 quid, then just start eating half of what you eat, and that should justify buying it on line.

Other than that, why can't you go to London Asian stores in Southall etc. to get one? I think you live that end? Just take a train and bring the sack back on your body's back. Again, eat less to justify your travel cost.

Me, too, Steve. Like your missus, I'm Hindian too. Therefore, we know what's best as the Indian rice.

Well there you are, then! Why are you asking when you've already bought it at lidl???

I've tried Trophy. Not as good as Tilda quality for my taste buds. Does the job, though.

Ok, I understand now.

Go and get small Tilda from your local Tesco for now. Go to Southall tomorrow and get a sack of Trophy, Maharaja or whatever they're selling there.
