Ha ha yes its the pipe and slippers image, Not helped by many of my parents friends drive Mercs !

If Swedish (or German) advertising rules are anything like the ones in this country, he won't have been paid a single pfennig, as the ad would be deemed "to encourage dangerous or reckless driving" and immediately be banned (as shown here, it's just a humourous video on PS's personal Youtube channel, no direct commercial connection to MB).

That's the genius of the advertising standards watchdog (or whatever they call themselves). It's perfectly acceptable to show people hooning about like nutters in a car or other vehicle in your promos if you're a purveyor of heavily sweetened carbonated sodas, but absolutely verboten to do the same if you're a car manufacturer

more to do with location i would have said, the solberg one is Europe, others are US.
