Default Best budget-ish phone about at the moment? £200 max

I've been with Samsung since swapping from Iphone a few years ago.

I keep breaking them though, with my s5 the camera lens has got moisture in or something and even after drying on the boiler for 24 hours it's still no good.

I find the batteries are a bit shoddy with Samsung too, so wouldn't mind a change, but not Iphones.

What's the best camera/battery life phone about at the moment for £200 max?

Try putting the phone on the boiler in a sealed sandwich bag filled with uncooked grains of rice, have heard that this draws out the moisture and the rice absorbs it.

I have a samsung galaxy core prime as my work phone, and I bought the same phone for my wife at Christmas - it is a great device for the money, and unlike many the battery is easily changed in under 5 minutes without tools.

At work I spend all day on the phone dialed into calls and meetings - a full charge will get my through two 9 - 10 hour days, with the device on do not disturb between 2300 and 0700.

I installed an OTA update at the weekend which claims to further extend battery life, so that may improve things further.

I've never dropped my phone but I'm sure the wallet/case would offer some protection.

Would this phone be suitable ? http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Produc...er/4478360.htm

Review here http://www.expertreviews.co.uk/mobil...get-smartphone

Buy a protective case or wallet and job done for not a lot of money.

I have the 2nd gen Moto G and it's a cracking little phone, dual sim which I find quite useful as I'm backwards and forwards to uk all the time, loads of battery life and does everything and way more than I need, had it for maybe a year and it's been faultless, cost me around £120 sim free at the airport, really can't fault it.

I just had a quick look on eBay and it seems you can get a Sony Experia Z3 for about £175-225 now. I've got one, had it a year and have never had any problems. My brother in law broke the screen on his twice in a month, but I have one of the glass screen protectors on it and a fairly basic plastic case. It's waterproof up to about 1.5m I think, so no worries about using it in the rain or dropping it in the bath/sink. The camera is really good and basically it just seems to work very well.

I got the LG flex 2 for that price and the LG g4 is around that price on some web sites. I would also have a look at the refurb phones as I also got a Samsung Alpha for £125 and I saw the sony z3 compact for £130.

Huawei honor 7, can be had for £207.

https://www.vmall.eu/uk/honor-7-silver-281216/

As mentioned, LG G4 from Vodafone, some debate over how good the battery life is, and not all can be unlocked from Vodafone easily - if at all.

Below is the in store deal - but worth reading if you're interested in the G4.

Moto play x deal appeared from Amazon Spain - play x has excellent battery, decent camera, and should be very robust.

I'll add I only charge my Moto G about once a week, obviously don't use it much, but my previous Samsung needed charging every couple of days under the same conditions.
