Default iPhone contacts manager?

Ok, so I've combined by S5 and my BB and gone to one single phone for work and play .. the iPhone 6s.

Problem is after importing all my contacts I have a huge mess of an address book.

I want an app that will let me delete them quickly, even if one by one, trying to do it through the phone at the moment is a ball ache.

Any suggestions?

Wait or you've done something wrong.

Looks like my work contacts aren't syncing with the cloud.

There are a few things, should be pretty much straightforward. Make sure iCloud is the default otherwise new contacts won't get synced. Turn it iCloud off then on in settings, you'll get some messages, saves contacts to phone, something like that, then when you switch it on you should get the option to merge contacts with iCloud. Going from memory, but there's not much to it.
