Facebook scam involving Tesco
Last night, a strange quiz came up on my Facebook. How many ***** can you see? I entered the correct answer, was then directed to a page with three questions about Tesco, and chance to win £500 hamper if I was right.
It then asked for my mobile number, but on reading the small print, I realised that, if I clicked confirm, I was entering my mobile number into one of these weekly draws at £4.50 pw until I texted "STOP" to that number.
What a scam. I wonder if Tesco are even aware?

Feeling a little tense today?
Why does it bother you THAT much?
You realised the scam and did not fall for it.
I bet there are a few Nigerian Princes that ain't that bothered about Facebook scams too

It's great that you get decent people offering us the chance to win some great prizes, a £500 hamper for just £4.50. Where do you enter, can you enter more than once or is it limited to just one entry per person ?

The man has a point...
Says me working between crimbo and new year and having to deal with THREE broken Land Rovers.
That's three too many. All of them are owned by tossers "oh I have a few days off work..I go and **** off some people who DO have to work by dumping my four-wheeled s**t-heap in the middle of the carpark so nobody can move anywhere".
Sorry, ahem, I'm digressing. We shouldn't be all this grumpy

I had something like that when I was looking for some info on something. Not on FB but just upon clicking a link from my Google search. I was asked to click 'OK' on an ASDA prize draw, and there wasn't any option with 'No Thanks'. Basically, my iPad was stuck on that page until I clicked 'OK'. I couldn't go back, nor could I go forward. I think it was terribly unfair. They didn't want my mobile no. etc. but I'm now wondering if they live inside my iPad and know everything what I do, on it.

Yes, we know! We know that it dropped out of your Christmas cracker and all that. How amazing! Now change the record and follow your iPhone's autocorrect for your defective grammar. Don't use comma unnecessarily. Respect your iPhone's commands, or it's a total waste on your lordship.

....unless you're telling an iPhone 6s (may it be someone else's) that you own something; whatever it may be. I don't think any iPhone 6s is bothered about what you own. It knows that you own a Windows phone worth 50 quid.
In that case, carry on as it is.

Fudging the margins to keep shareholders happy... , oldest trick in the book, I used to work in retail for a company who like to keep its shareholders happy and you'd be surprised how much of this goes on, writing off stock with a lower profit margin then booking other stuff in with a higher profit margin works wonders to the monthly figures/profit margin
