Spectre
I went to see this last night and I thought it was superb, really ties the previous 3 in well. Anyone else seen it yet as not seen a thread on here about it yet?
I hope DC does more, at least another one anyway as he has turned out to be the best Bond so far for me as he portrays the character the best. The names being banded about to replace him just don't fit for me - Idris Elba, Tom Hardy or Damien Lewis.

yes, I saw it last night with my 9 year old
yes, I thought it was pretty good,
still think the best was casino royal
and I was always a DC fan, but I think either/or Idris Elba, Tom Hardy or Damien Lewis would be great replacements too

Yep Casino Royale is my favourite Bond film too, the intro to it is stunning.
I thought the cinema would be packed and booked tickets late and when I got there there was still loads of empty seats. I guess people think it will be fully booked and are waiting for it to calm down when actually it's easy to get tickets to during the week.

yes, the opening 20 mins of Casino Royal was stunning
it was the first Bond film in ages that actually looked like a proper film, rather than a "made for TV" movie

I thought they were well done and there should be an element of humour between Bond and Q which has been missing for a while. I think the new Q is actually very good especially in Spectre.

Baddie not good enough and not in it enough. I didn't like the whole Spectre idea, harked back to the original Bonds too much, I almost expected a huge battle in a volcano at the end!
That said, I did enjoy it, just not as good as the hype, not as good as Skyfall or Casino Royale, but still loads better than QOS!
I though Mission Impossible was the better of the two this year.

I thought it was superb, I didn't really think all that much of Skyfall and for me this was a much better film.
I don't think Craig has given a bad performance as Bond but as a film this is the most classic Bond
Certainly hope he does at least one more and my choice would be Tom Hardy to replace him

I thought the plot was very thin & as said Christopher waltz just wasn't used enough it masked his talent ,, the fight scene on the train almost reminded me of Moore & jaws & I half expected him to stick a lamp shade in his face ..
& a good 29% if the film was actually a advert for his wardrobe & jaguar Land Rover ha ha .. Weak 6/10 for me ...

I thought it was brilliantly done and I think the only reason DC will do another one is if he gets to work with Sam Mendes again.

I thought it was a good bit of escapism, not as good as Skyfall (was it ever going to be) but definitely better than QoS
For those of us of a certain age though, I suspect the spectre of Donald Pleasance loomed over Christopher Waltz' performance

Saw it last night. On the plus side it was easy watching and did not feel like an almost 3hr film. Agree that Q was a lot more involved and worked well. Still cant get Moss from IT Crowd out if my head though!
That C chap was annoying and the ending very week.
**Spoiler Alert**
They didnt really explain how Quantum feeds into Spectre.
The intro sequence was poor with the octopus. To be fair I doubt CR will ever be beaten in that respect. Excellent theme song and animations.
Why does the Spectre logo on the rings only have 7 arms / tentacles?
Why did Bond have no side effects from Waltz's drill / needlework?
Overall a decent watch but weak baddy (still better than Bardem's camp Silva). CR still my fave DC bond film and actually best of them all imho.

It was enjoyable, but far too many plot holes for my liking.
I know Bond films you should just disengage your brain and enjoy the fight scenes, the car chases and the exotic locations but all of Craigs Bond films have tried to go on the realistic side but this one had more Moore era incomprehensible stunts and situations.

I enjoyed it but 2 things spoiled it for me.
1) Driving cars that don't technically exist (Apart from being manufactures prototypes)
2) Stupid Gadgets in Bonds car. Thought they were getting away from all that cr@P. As they said when Daniel Graig was cast. Jason Bourne doesn't have gadgets......
And yes, as said above. Bond has zero side effects from having his head drilled. Didn't see the point in it anyway???
Thought it was poor compared to Skyfall.

I thought it was brilliant. I usually find with longer films in the cinema that I get bored after about the 2 hour mark and start thinking about going home, but was riveted all the way through Spectre.

I think it has to do with my appreciation for the sincere looking but cutting 'work of art' man Daniel Craig. He's truly beautiful, suits the role so bleddy well and the cinematography was literally fantastic!
The only complain I have with this Bond character that it's reckless alright, but it's not as intelligent as it should be; for a top notch spy. Anyway. I only remember a thing or two about the film, now, although I found it fun to watch.
I thought that the Walsch (sp.) chap also did well as a weirdo.
