After hearing a Christmas song yesterday on the radio for the first time this year, I just thought I should find out how everybody else feels about it. I mean it's only mid September and I think it's a bit early and I'm sure it gets earlier every year. I'm not against Christmas, in fact I do enjoy it and love watching my kids open their presents. I'm not a massive fan of the commercial way it's thrust into everybody's face in a bid to get as much money as possible out of us all, but I can deal with that (just about!) However I have the radio on all day at work and by the end of Christmas I'm sick of the same songs being played over and over, and the earlier they start, the quicker I get fed up. Anyway, rant over. I'll go get my bah humbug hat on ready for work lol

 

Last year I did absolutely everything online; I also encouraged all that I know not to buy me anything. I have simply had enough of this bollocks every year; crowds, crap music, buying nasty tat just for the sakes buying, crap tv, crap cards.

The fact its starting in September now just make me more and more inclined to reject Christmas in its entirety; this year I'll ask people not to send cards so I don't need to reciprocate.

I heard on the radio earlier "only 98 more sleeps 'till Santa". FFS I didn't want to know that.

If it was radio 1 that is just Scott Mills getting in early as he likes to be the 1st person to play a Christmas song. It will be along time before they properly play another one.

 

Just been to tesco and seen they were selling mince pies, so bought some.
