That 'another member' was me. But then one day, magically, that Meet thread disappeared. I do not know why, but I can only guess.
It is Internet and reliability is rare here. All talk and nothing to show. End of.

I did pm a couple of confirmed attendees who sounded committed enough and were quite looking forward to meet others; to clarify that the cancellation wasn't my fault and I had no knowledge of it.

I've also noticed that some don't post as much. Their post flood has significantly slowed down. I think they only came here to fight with F1. Now he doesn't post at all, so perhaps they have nothing to excite them, here.
Other thing is, perhaps they're all just one person's multiple personas and they argued with one another here, just to put up a performance, for other readers' entertainment.
