Default Cheap pallet collection?

Right, I've bought a quad bike from the north of England and need it collecting and delivering to me near Swansea.

The guy has wrapped it up and secured it to a pallet for me to arrange collection.

It's slightly oversize 1m x 1.5m (normal pallets are 1m x 1.2)

The cheapest quote I can find is £134 which seems very high as normally palleted stuff costs £50-£60 to get delivered.

Can anyone recommend someone? I've tried shiply (£305 ) and various other online services but £134 is the lowest I've had.

Cheers

Hi mate, I recently had an engine delivered to me for £20 (crate). It was arranged by a lad I know through a car club I'm a member of in the North East. I can give you his details if you want to see what he can offer you?

Probably too big for ParcelMonkey, I tried something of a similar size the other day and they couldn't take it.

Maybe speak to Paisley freight. I'm not sure about pallets but they can certainly do oversize items. I've just had an exhaust delivered for 23 quid which parcel monkey quoted me over a 100 quid for!!!
