Ours has been off for a while. Can manually override it if a blast is needed on a cooler evening but have only needed to do so once or twice. Just put an extra layer on otherwise.

Had a sweater on all day. By two o'clock my legs were freezing, so it's back on again.

Yes, weather has been sh1te for a last couple of days. Cats have been staying in n' all, apart from one night when the brown one brought in a live mouse in her mouth and dumped it at my feet. Then she was looking at me to get a praise. I freaked out, chucked a tea towel on the mouse, grapped it and launched it as far as possible from my dwelling. It's possible that my cat brought in that unharmed mouse to keep it warm, it's so bleddy cold and miserable outside even for these little animals!

This thread is worthless without your picture with your beanie on, Ali.

Turned my heating off about 3 weeks ago when we had that hot spell and I haven't put it back on since. I have however been eating my dinner with my dressing gown on for a few nights .

Dressing gown? Posh boy! I bet you smoke a pipe or at least a cigar as well, with your dressing gown on.

Well now it really is weird.
I was cold inside the house with the heating back off.

I went outside to do a couple of small jobs on the car....and it's actually warmer out than it is in

Now if only the showers would stop.

I am seriously expecting the MetOffice (PratOffice) to inform us next month that this has been the warmest Spring on record.........

TBH, I've not been surprised when it's been 35+ in France and MUCH cooler inside the stone-built farmhouse.

But here? In Spring?
