Default How to watch the Mayweather Pacquiao fight without Sky

I've got Virgin TV but don't think I can order it through that?

I don't trust the pirate streaming sites as they've been know to have great pictures and then the main event comes and it goes off. (Probably streamed by Sky Tv)

Does it get broadcast free of charge on the radio, like cricket commentary? If yes, perhaps that could be an option, although you won't be able to see the animated live images of the battering and bloody gore.

If you persist on watching it on TV, how about going to some pub with Sky and huge plasma screen? That will cost you a few pints, but it will be sociable and you'll get to see the live fight on TV without having to pay Sky or anyone else.

Otherwise, he can go to a friend's house who has Sky, and watch it at his. He can take some nice beers in, as a sign of gratitude to him, because not many people would like you to hang about in their homes at silly 4 in the morning tbh. If this friend has a lady and kids, he can take the lady a bottle of wine as well as some sweets for the kids. If they have a dog, take an artificial chewable dog bone and if cat, take some catnip for it. They'll all be very pleased to have you there. Then be nice and quiet in their house as well. Don't make too much noise out of excitement while watching it, or his missus may come down with her shouts, and ruin it for you. You don't need that.

Good luck.

Virgin have it listed now at £19.99 but in SD with no option for HD, bit poor in this day and age.

Well, yeah!

But I thought he didn't want to pay the Sky cost. So I thought he might as well pay for something, and get a sociable timeout for himself as well. Anyhoo, free country.

Give "Kodi" a try, loads of install videos on youtube, check out Sean Pook
on youtube regarding Kodi add-ons.

Forgot to say, Kodi is a simple free streaming program for movies
music and iptv.

Think I have posted this before but remember staying up late to listen to Tyson fights only for them to be over in 30 seconds

That is indeed the problem. Have done it for the UFC before where the title fight is over before you blinked but at least the undercard fights were usually worth watching.

Go to App Store and download PakIndia HD.
You will then be able to scroll the the many thumb nails until you find the right channel being streamed when logged in you need to go to free with ads, you will get a few pop ups but they close down, if you mirror onto Apple TV via you ipad/iPhone the ads disappeared
Good luck hope the Mexican batters the yank

I can't see the fight living upto the billing, Mayweather will be his usual defensive, counter punching self and Manny now a few years older will struggle to land anything decent. Floyd was clever in not taking this fight around 5 years ago as Manny's speed may have caused him problems back then, Manny aint the fighter he was and Floyd knows that hence why he's took the fight now.

Mayweather on points.

I guess if you don't have Sky you could get a Sky pass for £5 and then pay the £19.95 subscription charge for the fight.

I've just paid someone £10 a month for one of there online Sky slots so I get all the catch up and live Sky Football in good quality. I didn't use to mind streaming pirate sites but sometimes it gets a bit tedious looking for a half decent picture and pop-ups etc. Maybe ask a friend for one of there slots, as it'll save them a tenner a month.

There's cheaper more complex ways that I've just found. PM me if your interested
