Default UKIP: The First 100 Days

This is on Channel 4 now, a fictional documentary where UKIP have won the 2015 General Election.

So close to the election I am surprised this is allowed to air. It is like an hour long Party Political Broadcast by the Anti-UKIP Party. Were a similar program to be made about the Conservative, Labour or Liberal parties then I am not sure it would be aired.
The general gist of it is that UKIP are basically only interested in kicking out illegal immigrants.
I have voted once for UKIP at the last European Elections to make a point but am not a UKIP voter and will be unlikely to vote for them again. I don't believe they have a viable manifesto for government and the party in general is a loose cannon.
However, this program does appear to be an anti-UKIP propaganda exercise that benefits the existing three mainstream parties and PC agenda in general.
Not good etiquette in my opinion.

I watched this and thought the same. Very suprised that this aired so close to elections, poor sportmanship and pretty bad to stoop so low. I'm sure the other leaders wouldn't tolerate this and If you were one to believe in conspiracy theories etc, you would have to think the major parties are worried about Farage. There was even a poll on the Daily Mail site where Ukip was voted the most hated brand in Britain. I mean do they really feel the public are all lemmings and we can't think for ourselves.

I think this is what happens when you have a policy vacuum.

On the meaningless ranker poll I made, UKIP chalked up the most dislikes...

...they also acquired the most likes.

Yes, instead of just cherry-picking UKIP’s anti-immigrant, anti-EU, anti-foreigner, anti-foreign aid, anti-Britain policies, it would have been far more balanced if they’d concentrated on the vast wealth of other, as yet undisclosed, key UKIP policies.

Perhaps - like the rest of us - they just didn’t know any.

What does it matter if they're a bit woolly on the rest of their policies when the 'main' parties back-track on their manifesto as soon as they get in anyway?

I am guessing the other parties are a little concerned over UKIP and the possibility they may succeed (at some point) so this has been allowed to discredit them - however it will have also made some hard liners more determined to get them in and also have changed the views of many people who would have realised it's a unhand tactic.

It would be fun to see if they did get voted in.

Also good to see the director of the program is in court being charged with tax fraud! Not something you see reported on the BBC or C4!

I'm told (The Wright Stuff) 650 of the complaints came in before the programme was even shown.
IMO C4 shouldn't be attempting to affect the vote. The media should be responsible and offer only facts and information. It's bad enough when they twist the facts, now their making them up, then twisting them.

Next Monday night, Channel 4 will air another mockudrama:

Labour; the first 100 days.
Highlights of which are; the disbandment of the UK Border Agancy, allowing anyone into the country.
The banning of any party which opposes socialism, effectively creating a One Party State.
Replacement of the National Anthem with THE RED FLAG.

At a special preview viewing, several of the invited BBC and Channel 4 executives, on seeing the new Labour Party logo of Ed Miliband in a Che Guevara pose, with beret, dropped their pants and started masturbating.
One reporter later said
"it was like the sound of champagne corks going off all over the building"

I don't know if you guys had read what that big gob Noel Gallagher has been mouthing off:

http://www.nme.com/news/noel-gallagher/82942

From above,

Noel said about Farage:

"He doesn't look like he could be mentally capable of running a corner shop, far less a ****ing country."... "These days, my own view is that if they truly, truly wanted to ****ing better the lives of the people, surely they must all realise that a little bit of conservatism married with a little bit of socialism, married with a little bit of ****ing UKIP and a little bit of Green and a little bit of Lib Democrats would be kind of perfect. But they're all into power, they're not into politics. And they're all career politicians and populists. And you know, the next Prime Minister after this one will be Boris Johnson because of that."....Despite this, he said he would still be voting in the General Election in May. "There's nothing to vote for any more, but I will vote on the day. Yeah, I vote all the time. I'll pick the most ludicrous thing on the ****ing ballot. Last time I voted for a little guy who was standing round here as a pirate."

I think Noel is going to have to watch it. At least 1,700 people won't buy his new CD now. I added 50 from SN. Say 10 UKIP supporters on SN and rest their family members.

I have ordered his new CD, hope that helps.

He's from Manchester, speaks his mind and I like him even if I don't always agree with him
