Valentines Day... Got anything planned?
As per title.... any plans for Saturday? I've ordered some flowers, some underwear (for her) and booked a table at a restaurant . I don't like to get sucked into the whole 'valentines day' thing too much as I know it's all marketed gumph anyway! At least it'll keep the missus quiet for a bit though knowing I've made a slight effort! Not too sure if she'll think the same once she unwraps the underwear......

Nothing planed for the oldies here. Will just get a book with flowers or so. I'll be very happy with that.
The daughter is having her BF around, and the son is taking his GF out. The daughter has a bit of a do going for her BF because he's off to Carribean with his work straight after the Valentines weekend for a good while. I hope both my kids enjoy their do's.

As sappy as it sounds, I tell my missus I love her at least once a day and have done since I first did and visa versa. We have an Un-Valentines day usually around the end of the month (ties in with my Birthday so two-for-one) purely to avoid the price hikes. You only need to buy a single red rose in January or March to see the disgusting mark up that goes on them in Feb. I'll be romantic throughout the year, not when Funky Pigeon/ETC assert that I should..........

We got married last summer out in Cyprus so there will be more emphasis on our first anniversary but still flowers and a card from me and a cheap wedding ring to replace mine that I lost already from her.
These things are a nightmare to get babysitters for but I used a bit of cunning and booked Friday off so maybe a meal Friday night instead.

I've got her a handmade card & a small tin of Lindt chocolates.
We have a Spa weekend booked for the following weekend which ties in with my Birthday.
Also ordered some things from Love Honey, I need to get her while she is fresh from her girls night out on friday to watch fifty shades.

I buy flowers and little presents for my wife all the time, although not as often as she does for me.(not flowers)
The absolute last thing I would do is be told when to show my wife l love her, by businesses no less.

I'm treating the old gal to the full showaddywaddy in Lincoln on Saturday.
Yes, it's MOT time for the Bimmer
But Nat is coming with and we're getting rid of our little 'un at his grandparents for the day. So if she's lucky I might pounce on her in a bush (Nat, not the car).
