Hi all

Basically bought a Micro SD Card from Argos on the 2nd November 2014 to use in our GoPro 4.

However it keeps saying SD card error so found receipt but it says that is except from the 30 day guarantee.

So does that mean I just have to write it off?

Argos are usually really good on customer service,I'm sure if you take it back they will swap it for a new one

try full format in a pc first (using an adapter).
It should have 12 month warranty from manufacturer.

It's probably exempt from their 30 day change your mind policy. If it's faulty it should have a manufacturer warranty of one year which Argos are obliged to honour. Just take it back and I'm sure they'll exchange it.

If its faulty you have a totally different guarantee, I was shocked with an ebay seller when I bought a 128gb card and it was definitely a copied card as he refunded me. It was £60 quid so I didn't expect a sandisk card to be dodgy.

Argos can't hold the 30 day rule for defective goods

Just take it back, I'm sure you'll have no problems.

In my experience, Argos have been good when it comes to returning faulty goods.

Well I learnt something new yesterday.

Didn't know the cards have a 1-10 rating on them and the GoPro 4 should be a 10.

We had tried another card but it was only rated a 6 so card couldn't keep up with the camera.
