Default Is the .Gov.uk MOT check service broken?

I was just about to renew my car tax online, however it's telling me that my MOT has expired - in 2011. I have certificates issued in 2011, 2012 and 2013 in front of me, with 16 days remaining until the MOT is next due.

The helpline is closed, with only a phone message saying they work Monday to Friday. Any What's going on? Surely they can't have lost a couple of years worth of info?

Ah, I didn't know that. It still doesn't explain why the old MOT cerrtificates aren't showing.

Not sure about that, probably a glitch in displaying because of not enough days on mot to retax.
Its says it somewhere i think. I know because i tried a while back.

Whatever the strangeness is relating to the MOT status, it's still not showing as having a valid MOT, but I've been to the test station who tell me it has 14 days left. Weird...
