Default Mad Bid (web auction site)

Hi all,

Any you chaps and ladies used this site before?

I registered out of curiosity, but 20 seconds in to registration they want your bank account details so you can buy credit, credit you must buy in order to actually get to the auction site itself.

Without credit you are not even able to view the stock items.......... sounds pants right? I think so too so I haven't proceeded.

I'd be interested to hear views on those that have though

Rob

I looked at it too and was put off for the very same reason as you Rob. I've asked about and don't know anyone who bids on there, maybe there are some on here who do bid on there and can put their views forward

Rob, a few minutes searching the many review sites should tell you all you need to know.
Here's just one;

I signed up ages ago and then realised that the bidding increments you can buy are .001 or such like so although you can get things for significantly less, because you've introduced this you/they effectively the items are still 'normal' price, if not more!

It's basically thinly disguised gambling, and skimming the fringes of legality:
