Neighbour hit me with his car today.
Reversed into me on purpose, Police said there's not much they can do as it's an automotive crime.
I said can you give him a formal or written caution, they replied they can't even do that.
2nd time I've had to report him to the Police, previously he threatened to do me in after I asked him to stop sweeping leaves and muck in front of our garage. Police came back saying I'd threatened him and they left it.
Our work-less benefit claiming neighbours rent their property and their vile landlord always takes their side.

Shock mainly. He's always intimidated me over the years, revving his engine when I'm in the yard with him or standing watching me whilst he revs his chainsaw up. This is the first time he's actually physically come at me.
Anyway the Police have told him to stay away from me again.

Police told me to get myself checked out and get a claim in, I told them that's not what this is about and they looked shocked.
I just don't like wrongdoers.

And end up in prison and let my wife bring up our little lad? He's circa 55yo and cares for his 30 stone wife, the law will sway in his favour in every scenario.
He's 6'3 and 25 stone, apparently he came to our village after being in prison, I'm 6 foot, 15 stone and even though I'm the most passive human around I can fight but our mutual hatred is so strong for each other that any coming together would result in serious injury to one if not both of us.

It's good that you're thinking sensibly, I normally do about an hour after reacting badly. I'd think seriously about investing in some CCTV and keeping a diary on his actions, starting with the crime reference you've just been given.
If that doesn't work then rape him.

Funny you should say that fella, wife used her phone as a camera when I had to go outside. She was trying to catch him mouthing off. Police have told us to try and document everything he does and try and get him for harassment.

+1 just tell the police you asked him no to sweep leaves in front of garage and he flew at you throwing fresh air punches and you caught him with a punch or two defending yourself. It will be autumn in a few week join a boxing club for all the right reasons you will be ready for him. Top tip have a 1" bolt in your hand when he comes at you. On a lighter note if you catch him right he may get a few quid from the tooth fairy and he might be inclined to give it to you to pay for the damage done to your car.

He has a car, so discreetly follow him and when he parks up to do the shopping run, let his tyres down, or slash them. Or more subtlety walk down the side of his car with a screwdriver. Or pee in a bottle, leave it for a couple of weeks, then pour it into his cabin air vent.
He'll never know it was you, but it could give you some satisfaction knowing you caused him grief.

Why would you not claim for him deliberately knocking you over. By the sounds of it your not going to seek any revenge as it seems you dont want any hassle even if you have suffered his taunts for year?
The only way to affect him in this situation then is in his pocket and a claim will do that; failing that you could just complain on the internet as that will teach him

Speeding...ACTUALLY hurting no-one, you can be fined £thousands, lose your license too, get banged up etc etc.
Actually cause damage/injury and there's nothing they can do? Bull crap.
Ask to speak to an inspector.

Sounds like hes driving a motability car ? A call to rsa to report his actions might cause him problems if so
Get cctv in and a dvr to record stuff ,, 2nd hand dvrs can be bought for £40 and do pay dividends as evidence
But before you fit a camera if he comes on your property again drop him then call self defence ,, as long as hes on your property when he goes down you should get away with it

get a friend to type a short note out,
SAYING LEAVE THIS AREA OR DIE,
then at 2-3 in the morning put said note plus a few litres of petrol and a used box of matches through his letterbox, job done, make sure you use durex gloves and don't use a petrol can that you own, and buy the petrol from a non local garage he will soon move house just the thought of being burnt out is enough for most hard men

I hate hearing stuff like this but you really do need to take it to him, I was bullied heavily as a child but snapped one day and knocked the big school bully out with a bat! yeah I got a slap off him for it but he never ever came near me again!
He's playing with you because he can, bite his hands a few times and he'll stop poking you!
