One for the tattoo people on here
If anybody has read some of my posts theyll know my mum has cancer and yesterday (friday) we got the news that without treatment she may have around 3 months and with treatment maybe 12 months, pretty obvious really but i am devastated, outside the hospital my mum said "will you be getting an memory tattoo of me " so i said yes as i have one for my nan so my mum says " lets design one together before i die so it will mean more that way" , just asking the question if anybody has any memorial tats to give me some inspiration please do share, many thanks

I'm really sorry the news about your mums cancer isn't what you all was hoping for
I decided to have a memorial tattoo on my ribs for my mother , I'm not religious in any way shape or form, nor was my mum, but opted for a facial picture of Mary with a flying dove in sunrays, the tattoo although brilliantly done, once finished didn't really suit mums memory so instead of her name etc I had "missing a loved one" written in a scroll in hebrew.
I will incorporate her name in an upcoming sleeve, with flowers etc.

Angel, sorry about the bad news mate.
Chemotherapy can make you wish you were dead. Therefore if I were you there are two things I would ask your mother is:
1) Do you want 12 months that may be very painful or a shorter time where you may get to enjoy time left?
2) If there are any clinical trials available to you, would you want in?
If she decides she wants chemo, then I would recomment a clinical trial if she qualifies.
