I may be shallow but I've lost all lust/drive to make love to my wife.
She's piled the pounds on and her belly sticks out further than her breasts.
She farts, burps and also gets lairy after a few wines.


I just do not find her sexually attractive anymore.

I'm not a big fan of chubbers but looking at her mum, that's what I'm facing.

She's getting more and more aggressive the further I move away from her.

She is accusing me of fancying a mutual friend, also called Alison.

To be honest - I am so bl00dy tired with my workload that I barely have the energy to shave until late evening.

I DO like Alison but I don't FANCY her - Although she HAS made comments in all our company along the lines of "We Should Swap".

I don't really fancy Alison either.

I think I'm at the MIDDLE AGED CRISIS

There are plenty of lovely, intelligent and sexy women at work that throw themselves at me - it's a mystery to me why, but they do.


I don't want to throw my marriage away but I'm only mid 40's and I'm bored out of my mind.

Yep, sit down with your wife and tell her what the problems are. She will also tell you what problems she has with you. Then act on it. Whether it means cutting down on eating, drinking, hitting the gym, changing your manners or whatever..... you both fell in love years ago so work out what has changed that.... and at least have a go at fixing it before doing something daft.

The op has answered his own question,he is at that stage in life when your not old but you are getting older and as his eyes are pointing outwards he is seeing his partner's body change and she is not the same girl lookwise that he married.As they say beauty is skin deep if you love her try to get pass that and discuss how you feel with her you might be suprised that she most probably wants to lose a few pounds herself communication is the key between you and your wife.SJ.

Sounds like you both need to get in shape and start eating properly, chubbers have mood swings because their sugar levels go up and down, so naturally the moods follow, then as she gets bigger the self esteem goes and comfort eating comes into play and the cycle begins.

Poor diet = low energy levels = can't be arsed itis, if you both get fit then you'll have the energy and the will to get some rumpy pumpy going and she will lose the weight and hopefully become more attractive to you.

Or you could just bang the office girls.

Option 2 sounds a lot easier and more fun.


P.S; I thought every bloke knows to look at the mother to see what you'll be getting in 20yrs.
