Photoshop Resizing Problem
I have a company logo in .png format that I need to resize for business cards. The logo is 173mm x 100mm and incredibly sharp. However, when I try to scale it down to approximately 33mm x 19mm for my business cards it becomes too pixelated and the text unreadable.
I'm using Adobe Photoshop CS4 for this and have tried numerous scaling approaches with no marked improvement. Can anyone offer a solution. I realise resizing upwards is an issue but I never imagined trying to reduce the scale of something would be so problematic.
TIA.

I think I might have solved this.
I re-saved the image as a TIFF with zero compression and then re-opened and re-sized it. It certainly seems much sharper than it was, albeit not 100% perfect.
