Default Gin

Now, I like a nice glass of gin - ice and lemon and usually with bitter lemon, especially on a warm evening.

Apart from tonic water, what else goes well with it?

Get yourself a bottle of G'Vine - the flavour is something else. Really tasty gin. I tend to have tonic.

Blue rinse, hairspray and a silk scarf.

Actually my best mate introduced me to gin and tonic and it is really nice and refreshing also very easy to get sloshed on.

I't a fine art getting it right though.

In some overseas places you could get a Gordon's lemon gin which was very moreish when chilled. I think if you steep some lemon rind in gin for a week or so you can make it yourself.

Of course you can join the "In" or "Out" bunch but they seem to be a dying breed

I dread to think how many gallons of gin I have had over the years

Cheers, dl

What do you normally mix it with David?

Ditchy - I got absolutely hammered on Blue Sapphire once - it sort of crept up on me as I emptied the bottle, and then my legs went....

Just tonic - keeps the mozzies on their little toes.

In Sark gin used to me sold on draft No wonder they don't allow cars on the island

Treat yourself to some decent Gin and make a Martini. Little bit of dry vermouth + gin shaken with plenty of ice, pour into a chilled glass, twist some lemon peel over and add an olive. Drink several, get drunk

Gin and Lemonade is always a decent combo! Easy drinking. Best part of airports is the rare Gin's they stock!
