Home nations anthems

Home nations anthems
I've always thought that among the home nations the Welsh anthem, particularly when sung at a rugby match, has the others beaten hands down. The Irish one is nondescript, the Scottish one is tuneless and dreary, while England lazily insists on using 'God Save the Queen', the British anthem.
Now at the Commonwealth Games England has switched to 'Jerusalem', which when sung is probably the match of the Welsh anthem. Now England must start to use it at rugby!

England have played Jerusalem at rugby & cricket internationals for years, you just don't know it because the TV companies don't feel the need to treat it with the same respect they show the anthems of the other home nations

Jerusalem is always played at Twickenham before 6 nations games, granted it's not played with the anthems, But I suspect that's political. The only side who get to play two anthems are the Irish.
As an aside, it is often reported that the Royal family can't abide our nation anthem either
Both King George VI & King George V wanted to change it.
