Default Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes

I went to the Cineworld "Secret Screening" last night and it turned out to be the Dawn Of the Planet of the Apes.

No spoilers but it was a pretty good follow up to the Rise. Definetly a sequel should follow.

Looking forward to seeing this.

My kids are 6 and 7, would it be suitable for them?

I do know of a way to watch all the latest films on the net but its a bit naughty. Its like YouTube, you just find the vid and press play. If you have a hdmi lead you can plug in to tv and off you go.

To be honest there is a bit of argy bargey in the film but I would not worry too much about the children, it's not explicit or overly played. There are bit's of comedy, fluffy stuff, perhaps one scene that's a bit cheesy but with great action.

The 3D is not, pardon the pun, in your face but does add to the overall feel of the film. Its well acted and Andy Serkis is brilliant but the Orangutan "Maurice" is played brilliantly and steals a few scenes. Koba is a real badass and is also played well. The CGI is incredible and brilliantly put together.

For £15 a month I get to see as many films in Cineworld as I want, not naughty

I have a large familly too, but I make sure I take refreshments with me

The prices they charge in the foyer are simply laughable

And the clip I saw of this film in an ad break in a World Cup game looked quite scary tbh

Seen the trailer for this, actually reminded me of a home game at Ibrox except the characters were more intelligent...

Went to the cinema yesterday morning and was amazed with this movie
Really well done from story to cgi.
The first movie was great but this one really was ace the apes koba , morice and ceaser are stunning to watch koba in particular.

As for kids of 6 and 7 going to see it they would probably have nightmares of the ape koba afterwards lol

Didn't say dawn of the apes was on there, it might be but haven't checked. Some are very good and others not so good but in time they usually upload a better copy when they can. It also depends where the film is released I think, some films are like hd and can be viewed before there even advertised in the uk but not many.

I use XBMC running on a raspberry pi and it streams movies via
a app called navi-x. Works brilliantly and loads of different apps
for movies,tv,music etc...

XBMC is also available for windows, apple, android etc
