Thumbs up

I always took AA breakdown and puncture cover for my bike for holidays. I got a puncture in France once. Called AA in the UK and they sorted it. (Found a local guy to collect the bike, fix the puncture and bring it back in about 2 hours) It is good to have an English speaking person on the other end of the phonce when it goes **** up.

Much the same as this country I would imagine. They have dealers networks in the same way we do. Waiting times will vary I would guess.

My dad broke down in europe on a motorbike. He was covered by the AA and they brought the bike all the way back for him. It's not the AA in europe they just sub-contract but all in all it was a good service.Portugal to Fife Scotland , it arrived the day after he got back on an AA truck.

Hope that helps.

We broke down in Europe as well (although not in Subaru but that shouln't matter).
We had the Direct line - Green Flag Europe cover and they were very good.
We broke down in Germany, called the UK office with our exact location, explained what the problems was. They called one of their "agents" in Germany. The guy coudn't sort our preblem on the spot so he drove us to a hotel and took the car away. e were waiting for a part to arrive from the UK. 3 days we stayed at the hotel for which Green Flag paid for (with breakfast !). When the part arrivaed they fixed our car and we didn't pay amything at all. When we came back to UK, we were invoiced by Green Flag for the labour but not the part nor the hotel.
Top job I think.

Hope this helps.
