Things to do in Vegas
Well it's on and the final 4 days of our 2 weeks in the sweet fat land are near on here and just wondering if there are any cool things you did in Vegas that are not highly publicised? I'm not doing a helicopter ride over the canyon as it's crazy expensive.
Going to pop corn girls shop.. Any other cool little things you know of?

The Hoover Dam is nearby, worth a visit, the tour is a bit crap though.
We didnt do the Grand Canyon, its a fair old trek in a car and was sick of driving.
We did two visits to "The Gun Store" and shot loads of different hand and machine guns, great fun.
Las Vegas Motor Speedway is nearby, we did the Richard Petty Experience, just a few laps in a Nascar, you can drive one but we were pushed for time.
Nearby to the Speedway is the Caroll Shelby Museum, well worth a visit.
Helicopter rides
Just mooching between the hotels, its like a vast Subterenanean airconditioned world.
See a show, we saw Penn and Teller, was very good, my middle lad ended up on stage with them for a trick.
Eating, the buffets are amazing, in variety if not always quality, take your elasticated pants.

Simples, just use this film as inspiration for your "trip":

In terms of off-the-beaten-track...
There's a huge Walmart a few miles east of MGM Grand on Tropicana Ave.
Having never been to one before, I thought it was amazing And the patrons can be something of a sight to see too!

The auto collection museum on the strip if you need something to do for an hour or so, you can get free entry from the website.
There is also one at the Palazzo (next to the Venetion), will be trying that out this year.
