I now know how I will remember. I'll think that as summer is a positive season, it's a season to move forward. That's why clocks go forward. As Winter is a miserable time, clocks need to take a step back, and hibernate at least by an hour a day. I get it.

Even then, I won't remember which date and day I need to faff about with my time pieces, and when to wake up an hour late or an hour early.

Honestly, time shouldn't be messed about with; like that. It should be left to continue to move, move and keep moving forward. Nothing should hold the time back. It's just wrong. I mean, who on earth do we think we are, to put the time back to suit us??? No one. Anyway.
