Whyte 46 all mountain bike
As the years roll on I have decided to sell my pride and joy, My Whyte 46 mountain bike. I now mainly cycle with the kids now and I feel sorry for my bike just sitting in the garage getting old.
When this bike was launched it was considered the ultimate all round bike, in 2007 it cost £2700.
Last year I had the bike stripped down and rebuilt with upgraded parts.
The basics are this
Whyte 46 frame (medium for 5'8 - 6'2 ish)
Rock shox revelation forks with remote lock out
Fox rear shock
Mavic rims with professional tubeless conversion (screw punctures)
Deore hydro brakes
Hope headset
SLX groupset
It has been re powder coated in grey, since this it has not suffered many chips.
Its a sub 30lbs bike that on paper, with all the new parts and build cost is worth over £3000
Now I am a realistic man, I have checked ebay and pink bike etc and I know that, much as it pains me its only now worth about £600 so I am after offers around that.
I will leave the crank bros on it and provide the correct cleats.
I am based on the surrey/hampshire border. I am willing to PX for a decent "normal" bike.
I would prefer people come and view the bike rather than post it, I want the buyer to be 100% happy before they part with cash.
To summarise. Its light, its well spec'd, its cool looking, it rides so well and its cheap.

Thanks for the comments, I think I Will go for bike radar and pink bike after the weekend seems like a good idea.
I will listen to offers, I also have a little bit of DH kit left if anyone is interested (Giro carbon full face, dainese knee & shin pads etc)

Hi Stu,
Thanks for the offer, Ill have to decline as I have no use for a head unit but your slightly random PX offer did make me smile to myself. And I suppose if you dont ask you dont know!
