Hi Guys
************************************************** *****************
The latest venue and time info will be placed here in the first post to save you wandering through the pages of posts trying to find out whats happening ************************************************** *****************
Due to popular demand, well Justin who cant remember the last meet because he was pissed and Si 'let me at that Fiat Uno and clear the field':P its time to start searching for a time, place and venue around the Coventry area.
Venue location
Beefeater Restaurant & Pub
Griff House, Coventry Rd Griff
Nuneaton Warwickshire CV10 7PJ
http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.c....x=14&out.y=16
The pub is actually slightly higher up closer to the roundabout.
Date and Time
Sunday 26th MAY around 2pm.
Any takers for Star Wars after the meet as the flicks are just across the road from this venue
Cheers
Neal

Hi Guys
Right thats 5 of us incl Justin.
Coombe was knocked on the head as there was not enough room to park as the whole of Cov likes to go there on Sundays.
I will have a little drive round this sunday as I have a few places in mind but dont know how busy they are on Sundays.

Hi Guys
Mickle great idea but lets see what everyone else thinks, shall we go to a track venue for this meet or arrange another date for a track day visit.
Personally I think its a great idea but lets look at organising something in advanced not as a Cov area meet but something to wet our appitites in between meets. I quite fancy a bit of Touring car action if anybody want to organise it go for it . At the end of the day if we have positive feedback then I am happy to go with the flow, so lets have everyones opinion.....
Here is the count so far
1. Me Green MY98
2. Si Green My97
3. Andy and Lisa RB5
4. Tony (sorry m8 memory is slipping)
5. Stu and Trudy MY01 ?????
6. Mickle P1
7. Justin Blue sunstripped MY00
Votes for Mallory park as a venue
1. Mickle
Cheers

Well just had me car serviced & got a 10% discount no questions asked i just said when he handed bill erm less the discount Martin agreed 2 as a SIDC member & bish bosh wollop 10% off
Although i was chatting with the guy doing my car so ended up distracting him so much i had to pay 2 x £55 hours labour
Oh well my advice is 2 take a different oil if yer having service there though as they use magnatec 5W:40 which is semisynth since they service fiats & isuzus n all so do as i did take a nice fully synth bad boy with ya
Now i can do my budget 4 how much money i can afford 2 pizz away on mods

Si,
Had an invoice through the post from Carstins correcting the SIDC discount to 10% They also added on brake fluid, gearbox oil and rear diff oil which they missed off so it worked out more expensive!!
I always give them Castrol RS 10w60 when it get's serviced. Most places only stock the 0w40 which is no good for Scoobs but can get 10w60 in if you ask. Think it was £27 from memory.

On to more serious items
1. Does a P1 front splitter fit onto a MY98 bumper?

Si can you do me a favour M8
Can you take over and organise this thread until Monday as I am going away for a long weekend starting in about 10 mins . See if you can come up with a venue, use one of our previous venues and mail a load of guys whom came to previous meets to make them aware of the meet.
Cheers M8
