Watto,
Might not run it though, as it's going on the rollers at Nobles at the weekend. It needs a WRC headgasket on it as a matter of urgency though. Together with a few more bits and bobs, she'll be whacking 2.3bar in the summer!!! Can still take you out for a quick spin though. Considering it hit 325bhp at the last RR shootout at Powerstation (and that was on 1.6bar), it should be quite tasty now with more advance and 1.9bar!!!

Regards,
Shaun.

Topjimo,

for the benefit of thickies like myself, what exactly does this "roller" entail? Where, what, why, how much, bad points?

Cheers,

Battledown industrial estate, Cheltenham. Great people (esp. Richie). Gave me a reading on my old WRX MY01 fully decatted and Blitzed.

Basically, they tie the car down so it doesn't run off the rollers and run the kn*ck*rs off it. Afterwards, we can all brag about it. Should be good day out. The centre of town is not too far, I can recommend a good Burger King to go to.

By the way, in the hey dayz b4 scoobymania polutted by brain, here are a few pictures of my previous pride and joy - enjoy.

Boomer - we are all going to put our cars on the rolling road at power station, who will reward us with a nice little graph of bhp and lbs. As far as I am concerned is no more harmful than hard road driving. it will cost about 20 to 30 squids depending on how many cars turn up, but you don't have to take part, just come and see the goings on, would be good to see you ol chap.

Squizza - get the Legger out, I'm sure Jimmy Mc will bring the white beast too.

Come on where are all the others,

Mr Watkins, come on you know it's the right thing to do

Topjimo,

I would put the Mazda on the rollers, but the rollers are only capable of holding 720bhp

Anyway, I've been on those rollers more times than Squizz has had hot dinners (because Karen scoffs them)

Cheers

Ian

You're in trouble Watty - I'll show her!

I'd be interesting to get the Renault tested too. 1800cc chipped/decatted FWD versus the rest of us.

I will be arranging some awards, for some of the following catagories,

1- Highist Co2 - Prize = a plant
2- Not looking at your car when it's your turn - Prize = Will youngs single
3- smoothist graph - Prize = A tube of KY
4- least powerful car (note there will be no award for the most powerful)- Prize = A shammy (the slower you travel the more poeple will see you, so you'll need a clean car)

Now that's got you all champing at he bit

Question

Topjimo,

ooh, er, i might be interested (either looking or measuring).

Can you choose to "get measured" on the day, or do they need notice? Oh, and where is this a'happening?

T'would be nice to know what difference a PPP makes to an MY01!

Cheers,

mb

Hi to T888

Yep I prefer your blue beast, (and the special sign for your own parking space)

Forgive me for not acknowledging you t'other day as you shot up past The Castle, (me in classic-style red WRX in opposite direction) didn't spot you in time

Matty B,

No worries mate - always good to see a fellow Scooby owner in our locality. Your's was looking as sweet as ever - are you local (D'wich that is)?. I have noticed your car for some time. Have you had it long???

As for the private parking space - kind of a joke courtesy of the D'wich Scooby Appreciation Club (A1 Motor's opposite the cafe). Come by and we'll exchange banter (or was that bragging!!!).
