I intend visiting the NEC either this Saturday or Sunday and don't want to pay the carpark fee ('cos I'm a tite git). Is it possible to park in a residential area nearby and walk to the NEC or catch a bus from somewhere a bit further than walking distance (say 1mile+) without too much hassle? I'll be travelling from south Wales.

Cheers

P.S. Thought this would be the best place on scoobynet to ask.

Unhappy

The NEC is surrounded by Sc*mbags!
Do not take the car, take the train instead.

Last time I went to the motorshow I parked (free) at a train station about 5 miles away, and got a discounted train and motorshow ticket - IIRC it was cheaper than driving up and paying on the door.
