STi running costs
#1
Dear all,
Looking for ways to make running the beast a bit more affordable
What should I be paying for STi II servicing in the Swindon (South West) area, and by who?
Any other suggestions for how to keep running costs down?
Ian.

Hi Ian,
Just to help you, I've had a quote to do the 60,000 mile service on my STI I for just under £500, including the cambelt change. I asked them to use Mobil One, instead of Motune oil, and a K&N panel filter.
First quote I've had, so I'm looking to get some more for comparison, and this wasn't a Scooby dealer. Also, I'm up north, so I don't know what the service costs elsewhere are like......

I used to use Hendry for my TVR / modded scooby, and was royally stitched up / ripped off several times (had no other local TVR dealer to change to and subaru garage didn't want to touch the scooby)
I personally would never go there again.
Maybe I was unlucky.....?
