Route(s) are sorted

not quite the ToD but we do have to get there before it fills up

Incidentally the Bonnie Prince is not easy to get into and not on most maps!

Get to the A50/A514 roundabout, go round and round it till you have realised where the sign points to, [come off at the road after the Eastbound EXIT slip], then turn right at the next roundabout and follow the road to the right....

Hope to see you all there

O.K like the man said we'll start are own thread.Venue ideas for our meet. Having not done this before I' ll start with Elvaston castle at 11.00a.m. Once we know Mikes location Charlie Whiskey can help on organising a route other than the A52.
Any other venues / time ideas most welcome.
Regards

Nobster.

Nice one!

I already have a couple of ideas for the route

Don't you have to pay to park at Alvaston Castle?

Mikeesingh and I will be joining you in separate scoobies

I might not be able to get there til about 11.30 - but I'm assuming you won't be actually leaving at 11?

Yes you do have to pay at Elvaston Castle...a few suggestions for meeting places, Showcase Cinema carpark, Pride Park or Wyvern, or Markeaton (think it might be pay and display though)

Lizzy STi Wagon, Mikee MY00(and not forgetting Tom with his RC MY01 Scooby)

Showcase cinema sounds ideal, we can use the carpark to the side of superbowl.
Thanks Lizzy,

O.K thats seven by my reckoning, judging by Mikeys thread we should be able to muster a few more.
Oh and by the way I had Derby 1-0 and Christie to score.£10 @80/1.
It was worth it while it lasted, pity we were robbed.
regards

South side of Derby may be more suitable to meet up as there are better routes from there.

Any ideas? Normanton Barracks Showcase/Bowling Alley could be one??

Superbowl at the Barracks was the original idea, lots of space. The Bonnie Prince is also good as we will be there fairly early.Sunday Lunchers etc.

Still seems like the original 7, I,m convinced there must be more.I propose we stick with Superbowl Sinfin, 11.15 ish. Leave by 11.45 to enable us to arrive by 12.30 to get decent parking.Charlie Whiskey is this o.k for your route ?

Cool

For the route I have in mind we would need just over an hour to get to Gunthorpe.

In order not to waste time on the boring bits, like getting out of Derby, I suggest that the Bonnie Prince Charlie may be a better meet point - it is easy to find and is certainly big enough to accomadate us little lot We may even be able to get the Stoke or WestMids lot to meet us there?

meet @ 11:00 for 11:15 departure will get us to Gunthorpe before it fills up too much
