Good indy Scooby garage I use ( if interested)
I dont know if anyone else has used this place but the guy who owns it Steve is a very switched on bloke who knows scoobys inside out and has always made time for me if I ring him in a flap about anything.
Best of all apart from being exclusively Subaru he is far cheaper than main dealer for service and repairs and is Subaru approved.
Just thought good sevice is worth a plug
Northants Subaru Located Just off the A43 between Silverstone and Towcester with easy access from Milton Keynes, Buckingham, Oxford, Banbury, Rugby & Northampton

I only use Steve for servicing or doing any work on my car. He takes the time and troube to listen to people and really try to help them out whenever they have a query or question about Scoob's...
Like you say mate, extremely knowledgeable about all things mechanical with these cars.
He's also way busy all of the time, which as he does'nt advertise, apart from the website, says something about the level of service he offers...
Plug resoundingly seconded
Neil

Yeah he is a top man, Mines going in next week for a breather pipe seal on the cam cover its dripping oil on the turbo heat sheild and causing a bit of smoke and a stink.

yup had a similar problem with a leaking cam seal depositing oil onto the exhaust manifold and whiffing every now and then - common problem apparently
I also got him to look at the throttle linkage which was caked hence why sometimes my revs would'nt drop below around 1100-1200 at tickover - safe to say they're now down at around 700-800 after the clean
dunno if you;re interested in a little blast next Sunday (7th) mate ? seems like they'll be a few from the Northants group finding somewhere to go play as well as the normal monthly evening meet afterwards

Only place I will ever take the Wagon, Steve Knows her inside out now, often finds a little something that requires abit of TLC and sorts it.
When she went for the Clutch change (Uprated Exedy job sourced from Zen) Steve found that the DV was also weeping so fixed that too, she came back a monster, either try to spin the wheels or stall, got used to her again now.
Top bloke, even sent me a Christmas card
