Default Robin Hood Stages Rally

5th March there's a rally held in Clipstone forest, which I've been to on a number of occassions.

Great mix of current and historic rally cars run through twice at Sherwood Pines, and they also have a service there.

Will post correct details asap.

Excellent oppurtunity to see scoobies, evo's, cossies and more at full chat.

Hi chaps and chapesses?
Don't know how I got here but here anyway!
I've got an entry into the Robin Hood Rally, I'm in the modern section on Saturday.
We could do with the support, so give us some cheers if you would be so kind.
Please check out me and the team, at www.rallyorange.co.uk you may also want to sign up to the new forum?
We are posting some info on the forum as we find out stuff.
Thanks anyway, see you all on the day somewhere on one of the stages, with a bit of luck.
Phil.

I normally park in the forestry car park. Are you meeting at the pub or can we say meeting at the cafe at Sherwood pines?

Russ, depending how long you stay at Sherwood pines (car 1 due 9:06am) (Culloden)
You will have time to get to Thieves wood, (Car 1 due12:11pm) as the cars have to do Blidworth. (car 1 due11:13am) But this also means that you can calculate the number of cars you can watch come through, before moving off.
Just remember how far you have to;
Walk to stage,
Get back to your vehicle,
Drive to the next stage,
Get to a good vantage point.
Hope this helps, you have a good day.
I hope we will be passing you somewhere on stage.
Thanks,
Phil.

Ive tried this in the past....... moving between stages. I find it best to stay put with a good view point. Just jumping about made it stressful! Anyway, each to their own.

I think I remember the Orange Scoob from the Dukeries event last year. Nice motor..... or was that the scoob that went around sherwood pines with the warning lights flashing?

The problem will be rectified very soon.

Im meeting a few friends at Ma Hubbards before the first car on Saturday evening. Driving the short distance to Sherwood Pines and watching the stage.

Then Sunday, Im heading to the Blidworth stage for the morning and then for the Sherwood Pines second run in the afternoon (modern only).

Hi everyone,
I'm pleased to say that we finnished the event in a respectable 29th overall. As it was Bow, my navies 1st forest event, and only second ever rally, he did really well.
Also thanks to the team.
I havn't been out for quite some time, so a little rusty. Still a good day though!
If anyone has a pic or anything, would you be so kind to let us have it?
It may even go on the web site if you want?
Thanks again for the support, and to the start control guy on Harlow Wood, who I've forgotten his name. (sorry! [He's a Scooby Net member])
Phil.
